Triathlon is a sport for everyone but making the marginal gains as a professional is very challenging. Your diet and nutrition become everything about your lifestyle as it not only affects your training but your recovery and therefore your ability to adapt and make performance gains. Tim takes into account all the complexities of a triathlon training schedule and creates the best nutritional plan for you based on your training block goals. Before the IM 70.3 World Champs we focussed on fuelling high intensity sessions whilst maintaining race weight for a hilly course and now looking towards full ironman build up we are prioritising fat oxidation adaptation. I often ask for deeper insight into the plan as I like to be fully involved and Tim is always able to explain the research surrounding his methods and likes to educate.

Cycling is hard, no matter whether you are racing as an amateur, a PRO or as a hobby. Any advantage you can get over your opponents is welcome as everybody trains as hard as they can. I wanted to focus more on my nutrition this year and it has paid off. I am very grateful to Tim for his great support. He helped me with food selection and making sure I fuel properly for each training session. I especially found his support valuable for Maratona dles Dolomites where the race schedule is as demanding as it can be. I will for sure continue working with Tim.

As a professional cyclist I aim to get better every day. For this year I have decided to ask Tim to help me optimising my nutrition. This season I was racing on some big stage races, such Tour of Austria, where it was really important to eat enough and the right things. His periodised nutritional plan helps me to train and race on the highest level. He is also knowledgeable about other aspects of athlete’s preparation and that is the reason why I chose him.

U19 racing is a period in which importance of nutrition and proper fuelling are often forgotten. Tim provided me with valuable insights into sports nutrition. He gave me answers to all the why, when and how questions. This helped me turn my season around and start achieving proper results again. Let it be local KOMs or 4-hour races, Tim knows how to get you to the starting line prepared and makes sure you will never run out of fuel. Basically, he makes sure that you can perform at your full potential. Tim is always up-to date with the latest research and is always seeking for marginal gains. In addition to that, he likes to test his theories on himself and that is what makes him unique. Thanks to him I now understand the importance of nutrition and will gladly work with him in the future.
